5 Ways to Stay Sane During the 6-Week Sleep Regression

Oh the six-week sleep regression…you fickle mistress, you.

I don’t know about you moms, but six weeks was the WORST for me. My previously content babies turned into insatiable monsters. I nursed round the clock and spent all night rocking them to sleep…only to have them wake up an hour later. Sigh.

The second time around I had blocked the six-week regression from my memory. So when my son turned into a lunatic, I re-downloaded The Wonder Weeks app and sure enough…there it was.

Although I’m past the six-week sleep regression (I’m about to hit the six-month regression), I know some of you moms are in it. Or maybe you’re approaching it and you’re terrified. Don’t be. Yes, it’s frustrating and yes, no one likes to hear their baby crying, but you WILL get through it.

To help make your life a little easier, I shared some tips that worked for me over on the Merry Milestones blog. Let’s be honest: there is always going to be a new regression. That’s why it’s important to have a plan for handling it now.
